I guess one bonus of living in Guam, is basically everyone you know back in the States celebrates your birthday on the day after you because of the big time difference. So you really have two birthdays. Believe me, it get’s weird pretty much every other holiday, like when your family is gathered for Thanksgiving or Christmas, and they call and it’s the day after for you, and you’re back to doing normal things, or at work.

In this case it meant that I got to talk to my mom and dad, and my friend Lexi, so it was another good day for me. It also means that there is always someone (In this case Stephanie) who calls at a normal time for her, but is the middle of the night for me.

And that is why I have my cell phone set to “Do Not Disturb” between the hours of 9:00pm and 7:30am.
Time zones are rough.
Glad to know we’re not the only ones that have trouble with the time difference. Lol
